Projects My first attempt at a Gasser

I guess it's going to depend on the rate of the front springs...I'm basing this off the stock coil spring suspension and a small block,but my Dad's Willys with a 402ci BBC/Automatic also settled til the springs were almost flat;about 3".

Either way I bet it's going to be a pretty cool ride when it's done.Early Falcons have such distinctive lines,it gives you a lot to work with right out of the gate

I'm back! I have gotten a bunch of parts, most everything is now at the powder coater and we are starting the exhaust work on Thursday

 

Got the new 3.55 gears and posi unit built. My buddy Joe Demarco did all of the hard work, I just watched. Also looks like I'm going to change colors and go from the satin blue to a "Glitter" Tangarine Orange and keep the black interior. The support tubes are pretty much welded in and the rear end is going back in on Thursday. Hopefully the exhaust mock-up will begin by Friday.

 

Got the rear end about finished up and all in the car, waiting on the powder coater to finish the axle and other "near" chrome parts then we start final assembly of the front end.

 

I will be posting some more pics tommorrow, got the front axle going i nand the motor for the exhaust setup. YES!

 

We have the rear end all bolted in now and the freshly powdercoated front end is going in place for final asssembly!

Have you bee ndriving it down by the Main Street Cruise in the last couple of months, I saw a early Nova down there and I wondered if it was yours?
