Hot Rods 41 Ford Running Boards

I am so happy to be back on the HAMB!!

Anyone out there know if 39-40 Ford running boards will fit a 41 2 door Sedan?

They won't fit.

 

It would be more feasible to try 41-48 boards...I have a 41 and a 47,,both look alike .

Okey Dokey.. anyone got any decent 41 - 48 running boards for my 41 2 door sedan?

 

It's been a while since I had my '41 but I seem to remember that '41 running boards were also different from '42-'48 and, like many '41 parts, were one year only.

I love 41's and wish I had never sold mine. damnit!

 

41 running boards are wider than 42-48. The 41 boards will stick out past the body sides, where as 42-48's will be flush with the sides. They each use different brackets and covers as well. Hope this helps.
