thanks everyone for the kind words, dunno why im attracted to such involved projects but i love a challenge! its amzing how easily the car has gone back together, i have many other customer cars i should really be working so i hope to have the car roughed in and driving for next summer, well see how it goes. im hoping to get the roof on today or tomorrow to get a better veiw of the proportions im going after.

Nice looking mounts being built! You should...well maybe not, have a dash of signatures!
    Provenance, isn't that somewhere in...never-mind.

Like a friend of mine's 34 Chevy roadster, made from goodness knows how many cars, all pieced together to make one! Dedication and commitment. Perseverance will pay off.

  20. Nice save. I think the coupe has ended up in good hands. I'm always impressed with your work. Keep putting that puzzle together!

progress has slowed a little as were getting ready for our big party tomorrow, but i got the roof tached on, my garage has so much crap in it its hard to get a good look at things, im a big believer in standing back and lookin at it to make sure it looks good, so i had my buddy hold some cardboard up so i could get a better idea, im pretty happy with the chop, still might take a tiny but more out of the A pillars but not much, i majorly dislike the look of a broken front roof section especially on a 32! i also bug bommed the door and quarter so it matches, just lets me get a better look at proportions etc.

  22. Doing great it's hard to believe that it's the same body you started out with.

  23. I remember Plowboy posting photo's of his hall from that auction, great to see another one of the body being rebuilt. Keep up the good work .

  24. Chop looks about perfect to me

You should call this car the Phoenix (risen from ashes)
Your buddy holding the cardboard has one hell of a wing-span!

  26. That's funny. That's what I thought....must be a 7 footer behind that 'board.

That car looks bad ass brother !! It's unreal considering......step back and beam! I sure would. You sure didn't need cardboard to show me, your progress.

That is a death defying build you have.....because that body was surely that. Dead. Great job.

It's not like I was asking him to turn it into a coupster.

    ...A Deuce 5W Coupster. Hmm...
