Just got back from the TOO BAD Rainy Jalopy JamUp. Wow what a venue even the pouring rain could not dampen the Jalopy experience, Jeff , Brandon, and Jay did one hell of a job making this the event of the year for me and a lot of other people. I cant wait wait until next year when it promises to be bigger and bette and DRIER. Thanks again guys and their better halves. Larry. The first 3 are when we met for coffees before the trip up to the venue.
Man what a bunch of great cars!! Doesn't look too wet or muddy. Looks to be a really fun place for such an event. Thanks for posting the pics. Tim
Even though it rained the whole time I was there I still had a blast. I had plans on taking pic's but the rain killed it... I will be there again next year rain or shine.
Great location for an event. Neat old buildings. Fantastic collection of vintage tin, on display. Nice to see Tony, racking up the miles, on the Ross Racing powered coupe. Can't wait for this Floriduh weather to cool off, so we can get back to having fun.(severe thunderstorms almost every afternoon) A couple shows on the horizon. Thanks for sharing. JT
Jamie, Sorry I wanted to take a photo of your awesome 56 Chev and Brads T-Bird but the rain was too Heavy They both would have fit right in, maybe next time. Larry
This is the only pic I got and it was on the way to the show. Two things I hate in life, rain and cleaning my car and I had to deal with both of them on Saturday. lol Brads T bird
it was wet ,it was muddy, but the vibe and people were awsome.the venue was very kool.to the people that left because they didn't think they could have fun in the bad weather, you missed out on three great bands and a graet evening of bench racing once the rain stopped.hope they do it again next year
...for a first time show, this was really the cat's ass. I go to a few big shows/cruises/swaps but nothing compares to what Jeff, Jay, and Brandon have pulled off. It WAS epic and in my opinion, it was because they had a strict criteria and stuck to it. And the rain....big friggin' deal -all you had to do was stand on one of the little porches or in the saloon, meet new people, and the rain didn't get in your beer! The landscape was full of the coolest cars to look at and it just doesn't get much better than that......
I agree with you, I did not leave because of the rain, I had to leave because of a previous commitment and was able to really enjoy the first band (trio), as well as the great B.S sessions. Again a BIG PAT ON THE BACK for Jay, Brandon and Jeff as well as their better halves for a great JOB starting the FIRST -" JALOPY JAM UP ".
Very cool Larry! Thanks for taking some great pics and representing the venue really well with your shots too! Stay tunned folks in the next couple weeks we will be releasing more info on the second annual Jalopy Jam Up! Jay
Where is this event held....it is a Super Neat place to have an old fashioned car show.....like it used to be years ago.
Larry.. THANK YOU for the terrific shots… so glad you and everyone had a good time.We are planning now for next year…… better thing to come and some really nice surprises on the way. Thanks to ALL who made our first adventure happen!
