OK Sally, I am sure you have sweat running into your eyes, and a fan blowing on you, (Not Eddie) in your warm Cali enviroment. Beer is cold, but so is the air from the compressor, and I need to keep some firewood for the house stove, too!!

As soon as I make a Grilled Cheese sandwich, I will be back out there!
I may drink my share of Beer, but there isn't a lot of meat on these bones, Roy! So I need some warmer weather!

Awesome ride my friend. Your from Colorado right, do you know Bob Becker, I think thats his name. He's got or had a Cammer in the past and several other nice unique Ford cars.

    Eric:
That Cammer looks absolutely beautiful.Bet it's gonna be a nightmare for the Chevy guys!:D

I once heard John Vermeersch say his most important tool for his Cammer was the bottle of simple green he kept in the trunk of the Starliner to degrease the front of the engine from that big timing cover leaking!:)

Hope you have many, many miles of good times with that monster. It's Ford's crown jewel of horsepower right there.:)

I have to admit even my Boss 429 engine has to take a back seat to the SOHC. Truly one of the best engines Ford ever built.
Had the engine on a dyno?

  12. You see, it doesn't matter if the newest and greatest make more horsepower (IF!!), more torque or rev faster.

It just doesn't matter, and you know why??

Because they will never look like sheer animalistic SEX in aluminum, like that right there!!!

Excuse me, I've got to go...

Got the roller pilot in, and working on the bell housing alignment, now. Pain in the ASS!
Gonna stuff it in the Lightweight Galaxie, for Bakersfield this year, since the High Riser wiped out a cam.......

Whats the deal with roller pilot bearings, heard that if it takes a dump it will do a number on the input shaft whereas the bushings wont and hardly ever fail. I ordered a roller but am thinking of a bushing instead.

Roy, I had a Blast out there. Bobby was Great,
and had many stories, and I am glad he signed the dash. Not sure he liked the Cammer in his old car, but I was in a pinch.
Got to thank the Mercuryjunkie for the help getting that thing in there, too.
Thanks for the kind words on the car, Roy!
