do you guys ever think about making a DVD of the event?

 

I'm trying to get my Nova ready for next year . Hope to make it . I got the front frame in tonight and threw a fender up just to see how it will look

hopefully my dad and I will be there next year with this. a real 66 gto, 455, 4 speed,. its not super traditional but we both think it fits at meltdown. hopefully in the next two years we can find a car and build a gasser out of it.

Question for the fellow Meltdown goers. Who is the guy that owns the dark blue Fairlane? I think his first name is Mitch? Is he here on the HAMB?

 

I don't know his name,but I will try to find out.

The guy with the dark blue Fairlane at the meltdown is David Jameson from Wisconson.
He is a regular on the FordFE site as am I.

Had a good time, even the Breakfast and Coffee was a good deal. I got a set of rod forgings for trophies to donate next year........ will touch base with the MD guys.

Mitch owns a badass BLACK 1964 fairlane with red front steel wheels and a teardrop hood. He is out of Indiana and is a really cool guy. The car is a real sleeper. I'm friends with him on FB if you need to reach him.

Kept thinking it was dark dark blue, but your right it is black from the pics. I remember him saying that he was from Indiana. He was wanting me to sell the Falcon to him so he could throw the motor from the Fairlane in it. Still been tossing around selling the roadster and the Falcon and getting a 30-31 Ford coupe. Not sure what to do.

 

is there a build thread on this car somewhere?

That Falcon would be a monster,but you should build an A coupe to duke it out with the one I've got going together....I just found a block for it yesterday....


And yes it's a 392 block,and yes,there is gonna be some scary,hell to pay,sideways,crossed up,wheelie-ing,tire smoking,pants shitting passes.
