I did some searches and didnt find much of what i was looking for.

I'm working on deciding on a chop amount and I'd like to hear from guys with chopped coupes.

Mines channeled 4" so the head room is minimal. The seats are set on the floor as low as they'll go. I'm thinking 2 1/2 in the front and 2 in the back. I'm not a tall dude 5- 8" so for me there's not much of an issue. I just want other taller friends to be able to ride too.

Any feedback or guidance is greatly appreciated, pics are even better

looks bitchin channeled and unchopped, but a slight chop will give you a "best of both worlds"

    8" chop would be perfect

4" is livable if you take out the package tray and slide the seat back, but at 5'11" I fit albeit cramped and leg against shifter. Traffic lights suck to see. Sure looks cool though.

Uh, I don't think the coupe in your avatar has an 8" chop :)
It would be great if more guys would offer pics of their examples instead of just spouting numbers please.

  10. Any amount will make it look better in my opinion, I would go 3.5-4". I chopped mine almost 6" but it not channeled.

I recently traded for a 30 Mod. A coupe, channeled about 2" and chopped 4". it's not easy to see out of. I would recommend 2" max. if that's yours in the pics, I'd leave it alone.

I love your car man, I follow you on the gram. But ain't no way in hell it's going down 8". Im assuming you're being sarcastic lol

My biggest thing is that I love to actually be able to drive my car.

4" is a number that I'd like but I think it just might be too aggressive. Again, I drive my car a lot and i want to maintain some comfort

More pictures and height of driver references would be great as well.

Maybe even stories of regret with too much of a chop?

This is a 2"chop. I'm 5'10" tall, regular seat height, works well for me, 6'4" grandson can't fit in it. Front view is good, lights are tuff, car is not channeled.

3 inch max. Any more looks stepped on or squashed in my opinion. Building my 31 with 7 inch channel no chop. East coast style.

I'm with you. 3" is the front runner.

If not its cool, but you think you could put a 3" on the one of my pics of the front view? I know it's not the photoshop thread but hey you started it! Haha
