  9. Reminds me of the pictures of some of the work the guy who got my Fleetline tore out of the quaters. It too had patches done like shingles - little squares of galvanized tin riveted on and bondoed over in some spots. One side had a big goofy jagged quarter patch cut off another car. But that car had been patched up probably 30 years ago and just never finished.

Lopped the old quarter off and mocked up the new one I built.

Amazing work. a few more panels and you'd have just used the old car as a pattern to build a new one!

I have to share this with a welding instructor at the college I work at. He can use it as an example of the wrong and right way to do things. You have tenacity for sure.

you're wrong. bodyline on the cowl is totally different, beltline is totally different, and the fisher body tag job# is identical to my personal 1930 pontiac. Not to mention the distinct visor differences. I know these cars like the back of my hand...

:D:eek: Looking at the PO`s welds reminds me why I would`nt touch a welder of ANY kind even with sterilized boxing gloves and a 10ft pole.Looking good.
    Good luck.Have fun.Be safe.
