Can't read the size, if 16" then it is prewar (42 or 41), if 15" it is '46 and later, Pontiac wheel...
Just curious how you guys can id as Pontiac. Is it the triple pinstripes? I mean I would have guessed early fifties Chevy p/u. but what do I know? Cool find anyhow, whatever it is.
Check the BC first it looks like but its hard to tell a 4-3/4"BC and the hubcap tabs seem like early Chevy late 40 early 50s, A 5" BC would indicate Buick, Pont, Olds. Buick had a hole for a pin to align the wheel up to the bolt hole and they used bolts, it doesn't look like Olds. If it's 4-1/2" it may be 49 Plymouth-ish. Pat
The three hub cap clips suggest GM and I agree it's likely a late '30s/early '40s Pontiac, maybe Olds. Without a locating pin hole eliminates Buick and most Mopars. Nice condition and a trim ring too......cool find!
Hard to tell in my pic, but is has the pinstripes & clips for the center cap. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
