Ansen 308 mounts what are they?

    They look to be front mount SBC. similar design to the Hurst 'saddle mount'-but without the sadle. Uses Ford type bushings to the frame/frame adapters.

    I've got a set and can't figure out what they're for for the life of me. I'd love to know!!
     
  4. They are bolt on front shock mounts "to install tubular shocks on Fords from Model A to 1935 and custom installations" as listed in my 1965 Ansen catalog
