Does anyone know what these might fit? Was hoping to run them on my 40 merc. Opening is about 7 1/4".... Also anyone want to trade for a set that fit 40 ford / merc wheels?
why dont you cut the back mounting part off a pair of dented up 40 to 48 ford caps and tack weld to the back of yours,done it a few times ,it works very well. you can grind around the crimp on the 41 to 48 style to release the back,but you have to cut the 40 style.

I got a pair of nationals on my 36. found them still in the orignal box at a swap meet. I had to redo them to fit a forty ford wheel. Was'nt that hard to do.
