Many years ago (probably 2004) I vowed to be at the 2014 HAMB Drags since my Daughter will be graduating H.S. this year. Sadly my current financial situation wont allow it but I will be there in spirit. Someday, hopefully I'll make good on that promise even if it wont be quite on time.
I wouldn't miss it! Besides all the coolness of the racing and motel shenanigans, It's the one time a year I see my 2 uncles from Iowa. For this reason I tell my employer I need off to go to a family reunion.
Recieved approval . Can't wait to get there with the 59 Plymouth and race against some amazing cars.. Finally no camaros or mustangs.. LoL... Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Preregistration and photos e-mailed. Now, will I be accepted in to the greatest vintage drags this side of the Mississippi River? Only time will tell.
We've got a ton of registered racers already... just a shit ton of really period full-on race cars... Some super nice stuff. The thing is, our field is filling fast and there isn't enough hot rods on the list. By that, I'd like to see more flathead powered roadsters, coupes, street cars, etc...
Would my car be welcomed? Just wondering what class it might fall into. It is a 1957 Chrysler with a 1957 392 Chrysler Hemi. [/IMG]
Just got through lettering our Push/Pull truck for our 6 banger FED. We cant wait to head out to the Hamb Drags!
