Hey guys this car is up in the woods at our cabin and I am going to pull it out and see what can be salvaged. I was just wondering if anyone can help me out with the year and make/model. 20111128_81.jpg

I see some sheet metal there that might find its way onto the next '33-'34 Coupe build...

  9. I'd drag it out of the woods if I had permission for sure!

  10. I will agree with the popular opinion,33/34 Ford.

Are the hood side's laying around? HRP

    one hood handle..33 Ford
    two hood handles.34 Ford..

I remember a thread on here where the guy was putting a 34 together that was just the opposite where the passenger side was crushed and rusted. he could have used that one.

I think you could sell what is left by the square inch.

Ha yea its pretty rough, I wish there was a little more to work with on this one. Im still not sure what i will do with it yet, ill have to see if there is anything good left and if i can find the parts to build it.

  15. Does it look like a burn in past?I'd sure poke around the area for more parts.

There is some of the frame there, the front bumper, some of the running board and fender and most of the gas tank and spare mount. The dash is there but empty and the pedals and cowl vent are still in. Id love to save it but ill have to see what i have to work with this weekend when i go back up.

Cool. Most likely a 34 then a 33. Judging by the rear wheel well

  18. I would take a cordless sawzall and cut the right A-post before trying to move it. It looks like then you'd have two large pieces. I'm sure someone could use both the cowl and that quarter.

Or, you could cut the cowl to the same depth as the rear, put a piece of tin across the door opening, paint it and put a number on the "door" and hang it on the wall like it was an old stock car.
