Its been almost 2 years in the making but I was finally able to drive my car for the first time last Thursday. I drove it one mile to the gas station and back then Friday morning I drove it 200 miles to the Rust Revival. Half of them in the rain as my luck would have it.
Any way I wanted to thank Tim for always offering his help and advice on here. It made my build much, much easier and I'm sure saved me a ton of time and money. Thanks to everybody else that offered up their help and advice too. I am super pleased with the out come it drives great, and runs very strong. I still have to do most of the interior but I think I'll tackle that task this fall and just enjoy it for now. I am taking it on the Bourbon Run and to Beatersville this weekend which is about a 900+ mile trip. IMG_3644.JPG IMG_3651.JPG IMG_3653.JPG

Very nice 40! I like the different cluster bezel. I've thought about doing something like that and using my gps for speedo as you have. Great work and enjoy it!

Wow. Neighbor had one a couple doors down when I was 16. It was 1966, and my dad wasn't interested in me even asking if it was for sale. Bill Cowles was his name and I think he left Ada, Minnesota for Cali. The car went along and I have been forever sorry it did not stay wjth me.

Thanks for driving the hell out of it. I'm tired of seeing hot rods and customs parked.

No bumpers, big and little wide whites and chromies, white gut and running boards set that blue off perfectly. Well done.
