Epic show....again! I had a blast this weekend. The turn out was amazing, the gassers where a great addition, and the bands rocked. It was a great time convoying up with Comet. A blast camping and hanging out with my Myrtle Beach friends the Assorted Nuts. Saw some old friends and made some new. Last but surely not least...what can I say about meeting and partying late into the night with the Sock F'ers. You guys are a bitchin' group that know how to party down! Can't wait until next year.

The Southeast Gasser group put on a show all day. These guys run hard!

 

Big thanks to everyone who helped put the show on . . . Geargoyles, IronLords, whomever . . . it really is THE show if you are into this stuff. I had a great time despite trying to ruin a wheel stud before the cackle crawl on friday night and then blowing my transmission on my only run on saturday.

The turnout was unbelieveable. Got to see and hang out with a bunch of great people . . . I'm ready for 2015!!! (well the trans isn't yet)

Also, big thanks to Curtis who dropped everything to help me wrestle some parts around and bring out the power tools

What an amazing weekend! I can't get over how large of an event this is. People and cars were everywhere! The amount of quality cool cars was astounding! Could not ask for better weather.

What I have to say, even though we assisted the GearGoyles, this is ALL the GearGoyles doing! We deserve no credit. Those guys know how to throw a party. Top notch for sure. The help we shared is only to try to pay back for all the hard work they have done. As a club in the Southeast, I could not imagine not attending or supporting this event. This kind of hard work does not go unnoticed. I cannot wait for next year. You're a fool if you miss this.

Curtis and all of the GearGoyles, you guys have outdid yourselves once again! You really need longer arms to pat yourselves on the back. You should be very, very proud. It was our pleasure to assist all of you. We're honored to call you guys friends. Thank You.

Curtis, what can I say, this is the best event held on the east coast. After 1200 miles round trip, I would head up there again next weekend if you were having it again.
Looking forward to next year.

 

Thanks to ALL the Geargoyles for putting on such a stellar show! Cars, music, vendors, swap, bicycle show, pinup contest................all to make it one of the best shows (if not THE best) south of the Mason-Dixon line!

So stoked that the weather cooperated! No rain, no heat, just enough cool in the evenings to require club jackets and bonfires!

I enjoyed vending, but I'm coming to partake next year! And hopefully in a hot rod!

 

i'll just echo all the great show and great pics quotes that have already been said multiple times. the only thing wrong with SIM 2014 is i own a bunch of broken junk and came down via honda hahaha. Congrats on the huge growth this show seems to be trucking right along. great seeing some friends i haven't seen in a few years to....

 

Once again geargoyles cc didn't disappoint! Excellent turnout and time this weekend! Already looking forward to next year

Another super Steel in Motion in the books! A great THANKS to all the Geargoyles for puttin' on such an extravaganza for the hot rod folks in the southeast. Hats off to the Iron Lords for pitchin' in and helpin' keep things moving. Hot rods, bands, people, action, weather,.....don't think you could have ordered up a better turnout of all. Thanks to the folks postin' up the pics (I haven't even ran through mine yet...slacker). I'll tell ya one thing, the Geargoyles know how to party. Once the last band(The Hooten Hallers) was on stage, as we say down south..."they was lettin' it fly!!". And a good reason it was to celebrate. Great job!
