Mike is truly one of the best automotive photographers current. I rate him with Peter Vincent and David Perry. His eye and ability to 'improve' the look and feel of an image is amazining. I could go on and on, and I have his images in my collection of art, yes his work is more that a 'picture' it is art that deserves higher recongition.

That stuff is so sweet it should have its own catagory of photography...
How about "Rodnography" The unique use of still or action photographic shots of Sweet and Sexy Traditional Hot Rods and Customs. Or just Hot Rod Porn!

  13. I've been a fan of Michael (@Buick59) Harrington's work for many years now ... even "borrowed" some of it for my posts here on the H.A.M.B. ... though, as the son of a professional photographer, I always gave him proper credit for the images!

On a side note: As I read today's TJJ Blog, I had to chuckle when I scrolled down to the bottom of the webpage ... and saw this:

as a photographer in today's world you must expect your work to be borrowed all around the www, but it does kinda suck when not even attempt is made to give credit where credit is due.

  27. Fantastic work, the Hamb is fortunate to have a few professional photographers as members and several guys that could pass for professionals.

Tom Hassel (Seadog) is just one of the latter. HRP

Mike is tops, Iv'e known him for almost 15 years. Great guy, super talented photographer. He shot my Deuce Tudor at Bonneville in 2009. Killer shots, that machine never looked so good. One of the shots even made it on to the cover of the Speedway catalog awhile back.

  30. Now that is top notch photography. I always thought Peter Vincent had the best Bonneville coverage. This dude surpasses him IMO.....
