really doesnt depend on the type of axel you have it depends on what spindles you have mounted on the axel
check the top front part of the switch in back of the dash and see if you can feel a botton with a small spring around it// if so push button down...
if it was ordered as a farm truck chances are its got some real lo gearing and a top cruising speed would be 60mph or less
dump the whole system you've got and get a self contained high energy HEI they're cheap and pretty reliable
