I know this is an old thread but I have a question burning a whole in my head.... In some of those photos it looks like you welded your wheel...
I have replaced MANY cracked twin i-beams on late model Ford F series trucks. Forged is better than cast and it's not an opinion its just a fact....
My opinion...fwiw...is that if it's a work truck then the dents will be right back in the bed within a few weeks so why fix them? How many brand...
That truck is done! I say drive it.
As rusty said. I cut those supports clean off on my 52 Styleline with no trouble at all. Everybody's doin' it....you should too. :)
Disconnect the highest point in the system and let the air out.
I've had way more trouble with sticking floats out of holleys than I have edelbrocks. Other than that, they are pretty equal in reliability.
