Lock washers are OEM. The usual consensus is they don't really help any @ the torque levels used.
According to a Mopar tech report the '57 Dodge heads take short reach plugs & the '58 takes long reach.
302 didn't start until '68, so it was for the 289. would run "smaller" in a 302 than in a 289.
301 Chr? The Edelbrock has the right mount holes but the bore holes have to be opened up or longer mount studs & use the squeeze plate that Hot...
The advertised 7.5 C/R is probably optimistic. Forged 9 or 10:1 pistons would help.
