I had a '56 and a '58 Cameo..both with stock upholstery, neither had the back of the seat covered.
Any local upholstery material supply houses in your area?
Local for me, I went to a upholstery supply house and was able to buy automotive carpet...
Obviously not an "original" seat for your car, but I wonder if this seat would fit, seems like should be similar in size.
