64 styleside bed now on the truck....Still need to cut the rusted floor out and fix the lovely holes on this side..other side is great..just a small dent. the original flare side is donated to my father in laws truck since his was in rougher shape. If your wondering what all that dust is ... Its the remains of Vinyl graphics that were on the sides. it was a messy job.

My dad (retired mechanic) helping me get the new motor running. I hear how hard it is to time ford motors...he timed it nearly perfect on the first attempt...and purring like a kitten( a mean kitten) in just a few min. Of course he started working on engines back in the 50s and was a trained mechanic by the early 60s.... He SAYS Ford kept him in business for years...I rolled my eyes as he laughs.

Modified Stock Bracket...originally it was a full circle to hold A/C compressor. I bought a fancy pants one from summit racing..it was flemsy...this one aint going anywhere. Took it back off and coated it in Gloss Black Engine Paint

Engine fresh from the shop... 86 5.0 ho. Carb Conversion. The Block is a Thicker than a normal one, so it allowed for .60 over bore with hypereutectic pistons, Mildly Aggressive flat tappet cam..not the roller...couldnt afford it!! Edelbrock intake Edlbrock Carb, This block is a 0 clearance block/head configuration...with flat top pistons. Higher compression modified stock heads, all themactor bumps removed and honed out. supposedly will run fine on 87 octane...has so far but I havent driven it..the builder said I would get better performance with 91 octane. all new valve works, new double roller timing set, high flow oil pump....with enlarged oil galleys for better oiling.
