you started this build a mere 16 months ago, the speed at which you have tackled this build in such fine fashion and quality is truly amazing. RULER!
I was a bit unsure of the graphics idea , but seeing it changed my mind ! I can't wait to see it all striped-up .
Sander, Always loved the COE's. I had a '56 Ford COE. It had been a dump truck but someone stretched the frame into a long flat bed. Hope you have a lot of fun with your COE when it is complete. Dave
So nice. When I saw the white masking paper color, I thought...oh yuck. It never even dawned on me that the stripes would be the cab color (duh!). Now I see it and really like it.
i thought it would look good started with fase 2 of masking pretty time consuming, it took abouth 3 hours per side . then painted the outer edge stripe (1/4 inch) Black and a smaller stripe (1/8 inch) silver next to it then removed the tape on the inside and now awaiting for a clearcoat.
the side paint work is finished and lower side trim polished and installed. and also made a bracket for the front license plate today
the project came out really nice ( esp. attention to detail ) .... and its one of the best ones i have seen ....
I like the original mirrors better...and no, you can't have them back. LOL (thanks again) The scallops look very cool. What wiper motors are you using and if they are dual electric motors, how do you get them to stop on each side?
Sander, That is sure going to be one nice COE you will have great fun cruising in it. Hope you have great fun with it. Dave
Hello Sander, again I thank you for sharing your project with us. Not only have you created a super neat hauler you have given everyone on the H.A.M.B. total access to how you did the work with constant updates along with detailed pictures. You have spent alot of time & effort describing your work plus showing the world with photo's of your progess. Thanks!!!! Great job!!! Bob Perreault
Hey Sander Man that is a great COE and even the model I like most. Last month we visited a friend in New Zealand who also finished his COE on a Dually Chassis, he won best car (truck) on the Beach Hop Leen
