My lawn tractor has more horsepower than that............just kidding, juice brakes will make it easier on the seat-puckering lack of stopping power. No sicker feeling than knowing "I ain't gonna be able to stop....(crash).......in time!!!"

 

Just found some pics of the Ford with my A coupe before the snow flew.

Both cars are cool as can be! I vote for juice brakes too so the front end stays looking good.

Just a wonderful Ford to experience. I had a '37 coupe for almost an hour back in '68. No engine, trans, glass, trunk deck or interior. When my Mom found out I'd bought it, she told me to take it back and get my $50 back or I couldn't come home.

Wish I could find that coupe again for $50.

nice find! i know that year car well....all though mine was the 85hp version

 

It's slow, but I don't think too bad. The experience of driving it is very fun. You do need to stand on it pretty good, but the little 60 revs right up no problem. I'm not going to daily drive it and I live out in the country so if it takes a little while to get up to speed I'm fine with that. I've had it up to 45 mph a couple of times on the old hard tires and sloppy king pins and it still runs true down the road. I'll have it all dialed in by the end of the summer.

 

Great score the 37 has to be one of my favorites.
