    it's a HERO3+

tried another, this time mounted to the cowl,
need to do some work on improving the sound quality
but for what it's worth here's another clip

  2. Cool vids Paul-

    it's the fisheye setting,
in the last one it really makes the front tire look tiny and the engine huge

something else I can learn to manipulate

Don't exactly know why but I couldn't stop imagining that was what it might have looked like watching from behind Norm Grabowski as he wheeled the "Kookie T". RIP Norm

    yes it was
but it didn't sell right away
so as is usually the case I'm fixing what 'aint broke
and playing with it when and while I can

    latest thing
'put an old dropped and filled axle in it
    but to make that fit
new spindles, king pins, tie rod and steering arms too
the old stuff was and still is fine
but they didn't work with the new axle

    so..
you know the rest of the story

    it's here :)

  13. When we have three feet of snow around, it's great to get out for a ride. Thanks!

no wind buffer, been doing a little research and experimentation
think I will have to order an external microphone to get anything like a quality audio

    all in due time..

    here is another short clip
this time with a head mount made from an old welding helmet liner

this was towards the end of about an hour long drive in 40 degree weather
I pulled over to look at the frosting on the top plate,
engine never miss behaved and never missed a beat
but she is more or less a fair weather car

In the first video, at 3:34, was that a car in the ditch and someone walking up to the road? Great videos!

    ok,
here's one more boring ass clip,
'made a bracket to mount the camera up and behind the car bit

still just trying to see what works and what don't

The head mount camera just seemed to be too high for a drivers view point but still, a really neat video. The mount in the back was very interesting. You can see the image stabilization working ( Mine does that on my videos ) but it is cool to see the suspension and stuff working. A very cool video as well. IF I had to choose, I think the first video was the overall most appealing to me.
I saw you mentioned the audio. At least through my laptop ( which is what I listen to my music on ) your audio is killer. Your car has such a hot rod sound.

Please post some more videos !!!!!!!

    Liked your videos.
Is there a setting on Go-Pro's that gets rid of the fish eye effect? Or any other cameras that do?

That's the only gripe I have with them.
