Nice! A little too low in the front for me but nice none-the-less, any lower wouldn't look period correct. I like the front bumper, that's a hard front end to customize right without making it look weird, you nailed it.

It's probably low because of the 800lb motor that was shoehorned into the front of it ( which I also would have done personally) looks sweet sitting in there. Keep the pictures coming as you finish it up

    So many projects..so little time

  9. The stance will get tweeked as weight is added to the front.it will go up some. The rear fenders from 42 have different wheel well opening, they match the front, the 48's were sort of "skirted"

  10. That and fatman spindle supports and relocated spring plates!

Looks good, like the look of the nine compartment. My opinion is the stance looks great! I have been working with the rear fenders on my '47, the wheel opening is different from the front and the rear skirts are3" short. Going to look for a pair of 42's, will save a lot of work. Keep posting pictures.

  14. Great start! Bumpers look fabulous. I like the stance and rear fender opening.

Love it. There was a similar YOM convertible project on Canadian Rodder site with a Hemi a few months ago.
