Bought this in eastern Oregon a few years ago. It had been in a barn since '87. Cancer free car. Got it running and driving with minimal effort. Neat old car, but too many other projects.

No, this photo is from Ross Racing Inc. I'm building one that looks alike, but it's not done at this point. Tony, at Ross Racing was nice enough to let us reflect there photo of it. Ross & Tony the son are two of the greatest people on the planet. Sure looks good doesn't it. MAGOOZ

Now that's really cool! I love it. You put a lot of effort in it. Has great lines. MAGOOZ

  14. These cars are so over the top:cool:. Pure "Jet-Age"!! Wonder if different divisions at GM were having a contest to see who could "lather-up" their cars with the most chrome???

pulled a 371 stick motor and rearend out of this car a year or so ago
'guy was parting it out on craigslist in Auburn WA, think it's still there,
could use a new front clip, a bunch of patch panels, but it was pretty complete.

    KQQLCAT,
Thank You very much. Turns out they have it in the catalog, but it's out of stock, and they say no more will be made. So I'm still looking for '50 Olds 88 Rocket emblem in any shape that goes on the lower left corner of the trunk lid. The '51 - '53 is larger, and won't look the part... Anybody?

  22. Nice transformation of a "Joe Lunch-bucket" more door, into a cool family cruiser. I think that color (H Dresdon Blue) is the same as on my friend's '60 Super 88.
Sheboygan WI, is a beautiful part of the country. Great waterfront. Stayed there many times, while racing at Road America.
