We got the engine going OK and ran around in it. The flywheel was lightened and it revved easily! Have a look at the special Australian exhaust system!!

Been awhile since I have been on here. Life can sure get weird sometimes...LOL banjeaux bob, you are someone who may be able to answer this, Is there spec's on Bloody Mary, to be found anywhere ? Wheel base, Track, etc ? The 103" Fat Boy is just sitting here looking at my peg leg, and kind of hinting that an all Harley Bloody Mary would put her to good use for a long haul.(the front drive 250 Ninja/ Arlen Special, is starting to come together, rebuilding a front diff, from a Honda 4 wheeler at present. Going to use all stock Honda front final drive axles, etc, but have been scratching my head about the knuckle mounting....would like to stay close to what Mr. Arlen did, but keep an honest Camber/Caster thing going, without having to use the Honda A arms or cast a spreader, as Mr. Arlen did.)

Don't know if these pictures will help with the info you need, but they have some measurements and scale given.

Mad Jack,I looked at your avatar. It kinda reminded me of this front drive at the KlausenRennen hill climb from ages ago.

Some Bloody Mary specs from the 1949 book "SPECIALS" by John Bolster. Some of these numbers may have changed as the car was always in a state of development.

3 lengthwise frame rails of ash
    Rear track 3' 5"
    Front track 3' 10"
    Wheelbase 6'8"
Tubular front axle with quarter eliptical springs. The radius rods are friction shocks.

Someone requested updates recently, so here's mine:

For the last few years I've been tripping over a stack of wooden blind slats that were left over after installing new blinds in my house.

A few nights ago, I decided it was finally time to put them to good use!
