The file name for this picture says this is Tina Louise. She made the movie "The Trap" with Richard Widmark and Lee J. Cobb in 1959 in my old hometown of Barstow, CA (me and my ol' buddies watched some of the filming). This area sure reminds me of Barstow - so whadya think, is this an early picture of "Ginger"?

Yes. Taken from God's Little Acre in '58. Here's another from same movie.

She made God's little Acre in 1958, it was filmed in the Stockton, Sacramento delta area. Her 2nd film was "The Trap" which she made in 1959 in and around Barstow, CA. Looking at the surroundings in the picture, I'm sticking with Barstow.

In any case, it's a great picture!! Thanks for posting it.

Wonder why the LSO was heading starboard? Didn't they have safety nets then? Or was the net already full!?! Gary

Never mind... I didn't see the photo of the jet hitting the LSO platform. Jeez what a bad day for anyone in the catwalks. Let alone the Enzyme pilot.

After viewing the women on this thread I often look at their other online images. I don't mind my aging looks but it's just a crying shame it has to happen to these beauties.

And I'm sure glad I always picked Mary Ann. :)

1943, according to the caption, in Enid, Oklahoma. From a website called: World War II Pilot. Vance Air Force Base is still just south of town.

1961 Oklahoma Highway Patrol headquarters in Enid, Oklahoma from the Highway Patrol's website. That building is still there where 81 and 64/60 highways meet. Both sides of my family came from Enid, and I still have family there, but my birthplace, a doctor's office, is now a bank.
