    I think this is a frontal shot of the Northrop XP-79, a rocket-powered interceptor that was supposed to intercept Soviet bombers attacking the U.S., never got beyond the experimental stage as it went into an uncontrolled spin, taking the life of test pilot Harry Crosby...doing this from memory so correct me if I got it wrong...

    References to the red/orange one are referring to it as a Bedford van photographed on Malta.

    They ran old buses in Malta until very recently many with similar local coachbuilding.
