white walls

ok was attending this show on sunday. they had a few rat rods this one had hoosier slicks with a added on white wall. where can i find these?

 

Rat rods suck and those are called port-o-walls, they also suck. Some threads on here about making your own white walls if you stick around.

 

You can buy port-o-walls on ebay. I have never used them but I have heard they fly off the tires at highway speeds. I bought my pie crust white wall slicks from Towel City. They look good and I think they were around 200 each.

 

My 37 sedan came with Porta walls. They had been on the car 30+ years. Sort of a poor man's dress-up item. They always looked cheesy to me. Go for a true WW tire. Gary

Wow! First a white wall thread, now a port-o-wall thread.

 

Porta walls don't hold up well especially on slicks. If your looking for WW slicks, check out Radir or if recaps are OK with you Towel city or Hurst.

 

First post states "added on whitewall". To me that meant port o wall.
