About to order up my rims. Going with 15" front and 16" rear. Smoothies, small baby moon and chrome rings. What color do you think? Not going red, was thinking black but I need some contrast. Colours on the table are a burnt orange, smoky light blue or a burgundy. My interior seat is a nice burgundy already and I like how it goes with the black but I just need some ideas. Thx.

  2. With the color pallet offered I think I would be inclined to paint the rims Burnt Orange,,I realize it doesn't match the interior but it makes for a great contrast.

Black seems to be the new red IMHO. HRP

Burgundy to carry over the color of the interior.

Or a subtle lime green paisley design.

Burgundy for sure, with two ivory pinstripes.

    Or vice versa

They will be black walls. My dad says I should paint each side a different color and decide from that. I don't think that's gonna happen. I like the green idea and the pinstripe too. Thanks fellas

Black! No better contrast than black and chrome.

  14. (?what is smokey light blue?)

Medium blue , like late model fords Vista Blue with a matching pinstripe on the truck.
It's not going to go with your seat but it will make quite the "POP".

If your stuck on the seat then I'd say a maroon that matches your seats. Especially because you like it already.

You know what lime green paisley is?

    Hilarious.

    Stick with burgundy. No-brainer.

  18. The choices were burnt orange, smoky light blue or a burgundy.,,it's funny how many colors are offered up.

Now that the OP has mentioned green he got my attention, you ether like it or not, personally I like it.

dodge truck copper (satin finish) ,kinda like burnt orange

  20. Good luck but a color that you didn't say any thing about that would stand out is a cream and some pin strip will jump out with that much black. And that is a good looking truck.

Black with the cream is a very nice contrast you could always use an additional orange pinstripe on the outside edge for a unique look that is timeless.

I wish I could run the spokes! My camaro clip is too wide and I need a large amount of backspace that I can only get in steelies. Oh well the smoothies will look cool too.

My original thought was copper, but the burnt orange would look good.

Black cars/trucks of that era scream "put wide whites on me!". Then any color wheel will look good. Even black, especially with chrome trim rings...
