It was crunch time. I got the BGBDLINC back from having a new roof skin installed on the Sunday before 2013 Canadian Rodder Hot Rod Tour. That left 4 days for bodywork and paint and cleanup.....Yikes!!!!!

    ...thanks for the compliments, guys...

Here ya go williebill...368 cu in '56 Lincoln with drivetrain for a complete chassis swap (let the flaming begin). The original frame was toast and butchered beyond belief. Body is a '46 Lincoln Club Coupe with a ton of changes....whole thing was built from an empty shell. I can list the mods, if anybody is interested.....

  17. Hey David! The car looks great.

I noticed you shaved the door handles. How do you plan on getting into this thing? ;):D

    Thanks for the kind words....

I used Krylon 'Khaki' -one of the three army camouflage colours they make (all flat). Krylon makes a good quality spray button with the little adjustable fan spray nozzle. The cheap rattlecan buttons always leak and paint the end of my finger and then the paint drips on the car. I don't use them any more.
The best investment that I made was for two scuff pads.....

Your car looks nice and I bet it drives good, but did you price new front suspension parts? That will scare you Jack

...haven't needed front end parts yet. The ride is excellent even with 4" lowering blocks in the rear, although the trans tunnel did have to be raised about and inch under the rear seat. The biggest scare that I had recently was for a rebuild of the steering box. Fortunately, it could be rebuilt by a local shop....

    Way to rip-looks really nice.

The "low buck" side of my brain couldn't help wonder how many rolls of green tape you burned on masking off the glass? That stuff doesn't come cheap!
