  2. Put the bumper on it an see if you like how much of the tank is visable from the rear, it looks like you are using the "blazer" style tank. I prefer not seeing the tank.

My wife is all about the fashion. She lives in heels. I think it is an Asian thing. My role is to do the hard work. No complaints from me.

I used a '49-'52 Chevy passenger car gas tank on my '64 C10 for the exact reason you posted above. The popular blazer style tank you are using hangs too low for a lowered truck.

You planning on towing anything with your truck? With the c-notch you have you might also want to check this link out: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=813383

My '64 C10. Finally picture worthy. I shoulda taken some 'before' pics, didn't tho cuz I was too embarrassed that I actually bought this truck. I have since removed: The TOTALLY RAD 10" autozone steering wheel, SUPER COOL chrome skull shift knob, brown house carpet, dice for heater control knobs, 78 datsun mirrors and armrests, door speakers with wire free-aired in the jambs, BADASS harley stickers in the back window, rattle can black grille, bumper, wiper filler, door panels, glove box door, wheels, etc. Still has a ghetto hole in the dash for a radio, but I guess I can live with that...

+.060 292, SM420, 3.73 open. Shaved .080 off the head to get the compression up to 9:1, and with a pair of headers it knockin down 16-17 mpg on the highway empty.

/\ Cool truck. I like that it has a big trailer hitched to it in the photos. I dig seeing old trucks still at work.
