Maybe they didn't know what was inside the trailer, and they just wanted the trailer? Or if they did know, think "inside job." Got a photo of the trailer?
I am online every Day looking for vintage sprint car stuff to restore my dads car, I will keep my eyes open for any parts. Can you give more info on the car such as the type of car, what motor and rear....

Hope they find it. This is happening way too much. A couple weeks ago someone stole a pick up, open trailer and stock car from a business parking lot during business hours! I'll post the info on the sprint car on a couple of racing boards.
That is a really nice looking old sprint car. Crooks are getting more brazen all the time and it get's harder trying to stop this type of thing from happening. I have seen some of the tricks guys use to try and stop anyone from taking their trailers. Jimbo

its been the news lately that people are going after trucks w/ trailers .... in the past month, a few other site(s) that i am at had the same problem ... being stolen ... and alot of these vehicles are popping up else where and not in the state(s), around the world ... i hope for best the best in recovering it back or whatever is left of it .... best of luck
MAN . How big are someones balls that they go into someones front yard and steals their stuff...Man I tell you the crap is getting out of hand ,and the libs , God lets not even get started on that.. Christ all mighty......Help us.... I'd have to think that it was a trailer thief that ended up with a sprint car that they don't know what to do with. The vintage sprint car community is such that you couldn't show up at any event with that car or major parts of it and not be found out.
Too many stolen car posts on here lately. Really sucks. Hope you friend gets his car back and the thieves get caught. Back to the top.
