As much as I love Nailheads that Grand National driveline would be lighter and waaaay quick. Skip Chevy truck axle and get a straight tube and give her that nosebleed stance

Sent from my DROID device using the TJJ mobile app

    Attached Files:

  7. Yesterday I swung by Doug Herbert Performance and picked up a Holley Blue electric fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, tubular transmission cooler, dual line feed for my carb and a set of lifters. I got a killer deal on all that shit.

I also recieved a full gasket kit and transmission adapter bushing from Russ Martin. He really is the Nailhead Guru.

I got half of the drivers side header built. Once that it is built then I can pull the engine and trans out so I can clean and rebuild it. I have to clean the engine bay and paint everything.

  13. I'm getting there Curtis! You're show is my ultimate goal. Can't let you down!

Yesterday I finished the fenderwell headers. Passenger side looks like shit but the drivers side looks pretty good. I will have someone make me a proper set later but for now I will paint them and wrap the first part with heat tape.

Today, I will begin fabricating for the Paxton.

Great work. There is no Gold Chainer here. A real hotroder. Give them hell. One day when I grow up I hope to be Iron Lords. Is the car going to be ready for Steel in Motion? Man I can not wait to see the car.

Nice. I have a 63 Buick Special I am doing a radical custom job on. Goal is to build a 60's Rat Fink style custom. Good luck on your build.

  24. Awesome Ron. Good luck tomorrow boss. Headers look cool.

  26. What carb/carbs are you running?
    What size air horn(s)

  27. Stevie, I'm running a Holley 770 with the 5 1/8 or something horn size.

Bad say yesterday. Found 2 broke pistons and a cracked cylinder wall. Pucking up another 401 now.

    Hopefully better news later.

Man! Now I'm doubly pissed that I got conned so bad with my 401. I'd like to snap that guys face off for screwing me outta that motor. He played on my generous nature and got me very badly. It then got worse when Jerm found his to be bad, and now you too?? Man I feel like shit.
