Hi everyone, Just bought myself a 36 International pickup today and was referred to this forum by a friend so I thought I'd share some pics to everyone and get some ideas.

Thanks everyone. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with her yet. I have wanted this truck for about 7 years or so. My ex wife wouldn't let me buy it. Shes my ex now and I got my income tax money and saved it from any more years of rust. Going to stick it in one of my sheds for now. I would really like to get the truck drivable with a reliable engine/tranny combo and maybe a better frame. Drive her the way she is for some fun and fix her as I go. I would like to find another fender for the driver side because I'm not sure I can save it. We'll see how it goes. Slowly but surely I hope.
not a bad start... i've got a 37 C-1... the fender is fixable.... hopefully it doesnt have cracks that have been folded and welded...

It's a good start. on my "36 i used 1935-1937 ford pickup rear fenders. And on the front i used 1932 Chevy car fenders. i have own mine for 33 years.[URL="[email protected][/URL]
Welcome.. I sent my 35 over to a buddy's body shop and he chopped it 4.5" for me..called me when he finished the chop and told me "It's finished but you can't have it...I want it" He swapped me a 50 chevy delivery for it and went on to get it 85% done and now it's parked like yours.
Such a shame that truck is just sitting now, looks pretty cool from the pic. I think I want to keep the fenders on mine IF I can get the left one straightened up. Over the weekend I cleaned to junk out of the bed to find a metal floor. I wasn't expecting that, I figured it would have been wood and rotted away. Was the bed floors in the '36 metal when new?
I guess they let just about any one on this forum lol. If you get tired of looking at that truck i know some one who would like to chop it and go do some burn outs. It needs a big block and 4 speed! I'm gona have to come and check it out soon.

I've got a '36 International too, yours is more complete than mine. I'm new here too so it'd be weird if I "welcomed" you, so instead I'll just say.... Cool pick'em up project man!
Well now you saw it buddy!! Your the one I'm calling to help me chop it Of course it would have to have a big block and a 4 speed for you! You wouldn't have it any other way. How about a 392 HEMI?!

Like the truck! I just started restoring a 1937 International D2. Who ever had mine before me, took the thing apart and put it in boxes and baggies. Had absolutely every piece, nut and bolt, trim, handle,and wire in these bags. Gives me a headache to look at 'em. Anyway, I'm amazed at how different they were from '36 to '37. Good luck! Below is a good example of how I want mine to end up, but its not mine...
has anyone fitted the 32 chevy front fenders to there 34-36 international truck? if so how close did they match thx
