  1. Can't wait to see those speed holes in the shifter!

  2. thank man

Thanks!, however i wish i had some customers rides to work on...

Wow Thanks man, its rated for 3/16" single pass. All my stuff is 3/16" and thinner. I would say you would be fine if you did two passes. Beveling the edges where you can will help alot too.

    Thanks guys!
Thanks Bud, ya if your ever on this side hit me up!

Thanks me too! as soon as i get some steel, im going to get it cut out.

  3. Making the rear fenders the same as the fronts looks real good ehhh??:D I can't say anything because if you do it, you will put my hack job rears to shame...

Here's a little inspiration, not that you need it!

wait... this is a bad ass build,... but you wouldnt brag to some minitruckers about it would you? love the sheet metal work!

  9. Thanks... um I dont brag about anything i can do, theres will always be someone who does it better. I hope i dont come off as if i bragging? All im doing is sharing my work for others to see and give me feed back on how i can improve and for ideas that i havent though of.

  13. Yes of course, but not in a bragging way. Its always nice to hear good comments about your own work from your peers, especially with the amount of talent thats on the forum!

Thanks again for the kind words man!

Sorry it just hit me wrong, had i know it was a joke i would have said something witty back...LOL

No harm done and again Thank you!

  23. Wow I haven't updated this in Months!

Well good news here is an update.

So the next order of business was to tub the firewall...

    and done with some clearance...

So after that I hade to move the gauge over about 2 3/4" to center up with were the steering column would be...

Then I pushed it out side to get a good look at everything...

I decide to use the button for the glove box, so I centered it to make it look right...

  24. Now it was time to start on the front bumper, man this was a big job for just a bumper. Anyways I cut up the front and rear bumpers for a 51 ford car. the ends are from the rear bumper and the middle section is the front. I wanted the contour to run full length.

    Here are the pictures

    the parts needed...

    tacked

once welded you can see the ends don't line up

after some cutting and grinding they do

Next it was time to make mounts

    and mounted and smoothed

Continuing with the frontend I started to modify the 54' ford headlight bezels so the were removable. First I TIG welded a tab of stainless to the backside on the bottom to hold it in.

then I bent up a mounting tab for the top for the screw to go into

together, had to add a tack on either side of the tab to keep it from moving around (still need to counter sink the screw hole a little more)

  25. Now I decide to mount the steering column. First up I made a steering column clamp mount

welded one half to the dash

    bolted together

and seen from the engine bay

and lastly I fab a little panel to hold the key switch and headlight switch

Ok now this is up to date! Ill try to not go so long next time...

Thanks for looking, let me know what you all think?

  26. It's amazing to me how the (heavily modified) '51 Ford bumpers seem so consistent with the grill bars. Both in profile, and proportion to each sequential bar. Great call.

All the details are staggering. Did you ever imagine it would evolve into something like this?

  30. Can't wait to see this done.

We've said it before, but I'll say it again...you have some incredible skills and your eye for design is amazing too.
