Event Coverage Tulsa OK, 2013 Starbird Show

Thanx Trav, Micks Merc looks so sweet, and Meyers 40 is tops, and the Sledsel has etched the red/black theme into my brain since seeing it in Salina. Really appreciate your excellent coverage, -- Royboy Rules!! ~sololobo~

 

Its a show car Dave, I'm not driving it any more.... I still drive it too work, I raised the
liscense plate up so now I just drag the bumper, gas tank, skirts etc.,

Scott Mills is the owner and its hard to believe but it is even kooler then the picture.
It will be at the Stray Kat 500 if he still owns it. It is for sale....

Haha! I knew you'd fall prey to the trophy hound temptress. I guess we should get used to yearly redo's of the car as it begins it's point race to the to top? Will there be 8 ft tall trophies at the SK this year as you begin your full slip to the dark side? Will you start being like me and buy a "stretcher" to haul your car on so the dressing in the tire treads doesn't get messed up?

I can turn into a trophy hound.Then look out I will be chasing the points. I will need to
borrow your trailer if your Mercs not on it. LOL!!

 

LOL Maybe we should go in together and get us a long enclosed trailer to haul both of them. Then we could also get us one of those nice big motorhomes to pull it as we hit the road gathering up the gold. Look out big time, the Merc dorks are on the loose!

After talking to the owner I would call it more of an homage than a clone, he was quick to point out the differences, but yes Myers did the striping. Same owner has the flat black 58 Ford with flames on it that we see at the 500 from time to time.

 

Thanks for putting some pics up Travis, sadly I had to work and couldn't join in on the fun. Thanks again for giving me a glimpse!

Thanks for the pictures Travis, we were going to come up but business first and then the Pushrod's Saturday night second. Really liked Brandon's model A and Mickey's merc. Lots of nice cars!!

 

Sorry I missed it guys was out in cali see ya at the 500 BUCKD

 

There were a lot of nice rides there, of course the muscle car crowd shows up too with their row after row of open hoods on nearly identical cars...woah let me tell you how exciting that is to look at!
