UPS dropped of my header yesterday. Not perfect, but definitely better than what I had. I can't wait to get it in and slap the windshield frame in it.

First round of trimming is done and got the header clamped in place. It still needs a lot of fine tuning. My whole upper roof section is pretty rough. It is going to take some work to even everything out.

Damn excited today! We finally have a clean header! Still needs a little work and a lot of welding and grinding, but it is together. I am pretty happy with the way it is turning out. Was a little tricky considering the header is from one car, the a pillars another and the cowl another.

I've got your next 5w project when you're ready since this appears to be your forte. :D:D

Thank you! This is the first 32 I have ever built. I have worked on a few, but never had the chance to actually build one my way. I may be a little biased, but I am loving the way it is coming along.

I am always ready for another project. Bring it on! :D

Here are a couple more shots of the header and top. The top is going to need some work to get everything straight. It must have sat on the top for a while. There are some thin spots and everything is "wavy".

I love looking at these shots. All the stitch lines remind me of Frankenstein!

I should have posted these pics first. The new header I put in had a couple issues I needed to fix. It had a pretty nasty dent in the front bead and a flat spot above that. I couldn't get to the back of it, so I cut it out. I also needed access to the windshield hinge nuts. The passenger side was ok, but the drivers side had one nut missing, the other had a bolt broke off. I made a couple square nuts and fixed the cages. Here are a couple shots.

I hope to have an update very soon. Progress has been slow. Been busy in the shop on customer projects and trying to come up with some extra cash to buy all the parts to finish the car.

    Pictures coming soon.......
