Dave posted a couple of pix in his Chemical City Coupe build thread but here are a few more of the modified that Joe rolled out the door this morning. It will be in the Louisville show next weekend for anyone in this area who wants to see it up close and personal. Joe peeling the protective tape off right before the owner arrived Someone is happy with their new toy Joe figured that he needed to take some photos too Roo My contribution was the grille shell, the rest is all from Joe's fertile imagination and great fabrication skills
Wicked stance and I love those caps! I was parked right next to their grey roadster at Brookville last year and saw their black 5 window...both bad ass rides!
That thing flat out rocks! Jo has some serious vision and talent. Can't wait to see him get the Chemical City Coupe all buttoned up in the next few weeks. All three of the JoKerr cars going to Autorama this year are gonna be wicked cool. Check them out in the basement. . .
Seen that car when the frame was just setting on the floor, awesome finish Jo. Will at Louisville to get a closer look.
Actually it is a Buick--front half of a tub. Here are some pix of the grille shell under construction Roo
It doesn't get any better than this, what a beauty. The grille shell is uber cool, great to see shots in progress on its construction. What a blast this would be to rock the road with. Congrats to all! ~sololobo~
Great look, Bob Lathery (Louisville KY best pinstriper) must be super happy!!! Congrats to Roo, Joey & Bob
In Louisville along with the upholstery--one (two actually) less part to get in the way during final assembly Roo
. what you can't see in the pics is that the beatuy is more than skin deep. The chassis on this thing is killer also. It features torsion bars front and rear. I have been following this along on Jo's web sight and seen it in person a few time while I was down checking in on the progress of my car. For build pics of the modified, check out the galley at JoKerrfab.com .
3wLarry, if you want more build pics of this cool lakes modified google "jokerrfab". Jo Kerr has many shop project build photo's. Larry, you would look cool driving a lakes modified around Owasso Oklahoma!
Every time I sell off a modified project something amazing comes along to make me wish I had it back. I love this little car. I got the see the bare chassis a while back and have been looking forward to seeing the car done ever since. The track nose is a killer Rooman! Can't wait to see it all done with doors and interior. JH
Bob, that thing rocks! You will love driving it. After I sold mine I picked up the first '27 roadster cowl I found and have been collecting pieces to build another. Can't wait to see it!
