I dunno about their "clips", but their MII IFS kit that I used in my truck (4 years ago) didnt need anything added to achieve the stops.
so tech support has no idea why the wheels don't stop. great, thanks. i keep having to send off pictures to people so they can figure out how there own products.
Asking for pictures is the best way to diagnose a problem, PROPERLY. It could be something as simple as a rack extension installed incorrectly or maybe the wrong length extension. *just sayin
your right, its just getting old having to explain to people problems on every part i buy design to solve, my problem. just ironic and frustrating.
The rack would be your limiting travel factor. I read your posts and to be honest I still don't know what your problem is, can you elaborate alittle more or better yet alot more?
currently the problem is that my tie rod ends are hitting the A arms and brake hoses on the back side of the tier. basically its turning to far.
Why are your tie rod ends on the same side as your brake hoses? Rack in front of crossmember? Dropped spindles or? Which kit is it and what's it installed on?
i ment that the tie rods hit on the front side and it hits the hoses on the back side, of each wheel. this is installed on a 55 f100.
Did you have to cut the ends of the rack off about 3/4 inch in order to get some resemblence of zero camber?
Find center of travel on rack, adjust tie rod ends till front tires look some what straight, report back. No pic's? maybe a video? Just kidding.................
