I got my seat (Dodge Caravan second row seat), back from the upholster and made some brackets to mount it. Came out decent I think, just need to figure something out for side covers of the reclining mechanism and handle.

On another forum "Mounted my seat today" was a euphemism for something kinky!

I'm going to have to look at the one in my wife's Grand Caravan to see if it folds. The back seat folds but I don't think the second seat folds. I've ridden back there once or twice when one of my kids was driving and it's a comfortable seat that you can actually ride a ways on.

What year Caravans are you guys using? And what is the width of the seat? Also height of the seat back? Looking for something to fit in a 1938 Buick coupe (maybe)...

Looks good, after you drive it a bit you may not even notice the seat mechs showing, they dont look bad to me from here just to leave em showing like they are.
You wont see em while you drive, you wont see em with the doors closed and trucks were at least originaly considered to be more of a utilitarian vehicle anyway so....

Do as you please,It shouldnt be to big of a deal to come up with some covers if you want.
