Does that Ranchero, in the back, really sit like that?

Stude dude ive seen your build awesome. Very nice and tasteful.

Im gonna go for a clean mild custom im about 50-50 on choppin it right now but first things first got a 500 caddy mill to put in it. Ive already clipped it with 77 camaro ft. notched bagged and channeled cut 1.5 inches off the bottom. im just behind on the pics.

    Thanx for the compliment...

Cool on the mild kustom...but Cadillacs should be CLASSY...and FWIW, not everything needs to be chopped...

I know. thats why im up in the air on it. If I chop its gonna be like two inches at the most. Want it to look pretty original. Im toying with moving the back glass down a lil and keeping windshield stock. Then maybee I wont have so much work to do with stainless and vent window.

  12. Cool Build! Keep the pics comin'!

Oh very nice, love the 50s caddys. You keeping the stock engine? I like those early cadillac mills.

I wish, damn thing is seized up good I got it with no spark plugs in it and was full of sand.

I got a caddy 500 to put in it out of a seventies eldorado.

CADILLACS DONT NEED TO BE CHOPPED!
And thats coming from a custom guy who loves well-chopped cars.
Cadillac got it right from the factory.

    Dont jack it up ;)

here's my 55 Cad chopped 1 11/16". You're thinking about 2"? I think that might be too much.
In this picture i don't have the stainless trim installed yet.
With the stainless installed the chop is just slightly more noticeable because it closes the window opening by that much.
I say give it a mild chop. i think it enhances the car.

Looks nice. But I want to keep wraparound rear window. I too think a mild chop would look nice.

    Thanks for the pic.

Cadstar looks nice. Better than stock IMHO. Thats like three inches.

    Half doored?
Gotta be sweet im sure. Your builds are always intresting. I mean it in a good way of course, as in creative stuff.
BTW, 55caddyted looks on the spot. If only still had the wrap around would be perfect. I say go for it.

Thanks I try to do allot of work to a car. I know you could just lower a 56 caddy paint it gold or green put white walls on it and call it a day. But thats just not me, and seen as how this is my car, not a customers its gonna get some work done.

I will try as hard as I can to keep the caddy soul though.

    But Nothings Sacred.
