Seeing yours at the Brimfield Nats sealed it for me, just sits PERFECT. I'd like to take a closer look some day.

  8. Very nice, indeed! This how I find 'am. This is a 36 my body man bought and dragged back to the shop...looks pretty nice now. I think I'd have left it where it was.
I can't help but wonder what you mean by making the wide 5 drums look like hubcaps? I really dig the bigger [36?] stainless caps over the little beanie [39s?] caps.
    congrats!

What's more trusting, to me, were the points the chain (hooked to the bumper-attach points) was hooked to lower the car.

How long did it take to get the car out of there?

Great story and I would not have believed the removal of the car from the top of a barn without pictures to back it up! I had a pucker moment looking at the pics with the ramps and the chains hooked to the front bumper. Whoa buddy! None the less, beautiful car and now priceless story of how you removed it from the top of a barn! Great score.

  14. Great find, nice car, glad you got it down to earth ok.
Nowadays roofing companies use flatbed trucks that the bed raises strate up, one of those would've been real handy; but I guess the guy knew how it went up there; mite as well come back down the same way. Cool!

I would rather have to find a few parts and have the nice body you got ,than have a complete one that needs ashit load of body repair !

Wow! I am not brave enough to try the second floor ramp thing nor lucky enough to get away with it. Nice score.

All that work to get the car out of the rafters but never bothered to follow up on getting it running again.
