  3. awesome car, great to see the progress.

How are you aiming to run the exhaust?

  4. That is killer. Between this, andy's 5 window and chris' roadster I need a 34. But I think the.model a's will have to do.

I'm up in the air on what to use for an exhaust system? I'm using the stock manifolds and the engine is only 241" bored .060. The only go fast goodies is a NOS Howards Cam and the 3 duece setup. I was thinking of having it exit in front or behind the door but I'm thinking that it'd be better to run it all the way back? If I do go all the way back not sure if I don't run mufflers if it'll sound like crap?

    any opinions/suggestions?

It will probably sound better run out the back. IMHO dual exhausts that exit in front of the rear wheels tend to give the engine a choppy sound, kinda like a burnt exhaust valve. If you run it out the back and don't use mufflers I'm sure there are baffles that can be inserted, just like those used on bikes.

Maybe try running duals all the way back without mufflers to see how it sounds? If you don't like it, just cut in mufflers later --- something like a Porter muffler might sound good.

I ran my 241 with smittys and it was too quiet and pull the mufflers. It sounds great but it can be too loud in the morning. So now I rolled up some chicken wire and stuff it into the tailpipes and now its perfect. :) cool sedan and love the engine choice

Your car KICKS ASS. I would run straight pipes out the back, no mufflers. It should sound as mean as it looks. Really great job man.

I really like the color choice.

That picture with the light coming through the louvers in the roof really make me want to know what it would sound like going down the road.

  19. think the chicken wire trick will work on my truck
