I found a guy Who makes wood frames 1928 chevy coupe or roadsters,

so i just picked up a 1932 5 passenger coupe, most of the wood is rotted, it came with 2 hoods, 1 set of hood sides, front grill, frame, bumpers, fenders, running boards and 4 doors, 2 of with i think go to a 32 5 window coupe, unfortunately it came with 2 passenger door and no drivers. im not sure what im going to do with it as of yet.

So XXCREEP68XX what are your plans for it? 32 Chevys are sweet looking cars.

 

I like that body style.

 

im not too sure as of yet, i just picked it up yesterday, i am still currently working on a 29 ford sedan but i couldnt pass this by. im a little concerned it may be beyond my knowledge and abilities, so for now i am going to focus on the ford and then see how i feel about working on this one. i like the fact the it looks like a baby sedan and its not too common.

I'm in ... just starting this one, in truth its a 32 Pontiac (as I learned here, AFTER I bought it) hope that doesnt disqualifiy me.

 

Yeah you gotta love the wood..lol.. we have 35 chevy coupe. 31 chevy 2 door sedan and 1934 chevy truxk..

 

A friend found this '29 in the wilderness and let me buy it a few years ago. I blew it apart and de-rusted it, but haven't done much with it yet. Stumbled on a pair of door skins at the Spokane swap meet. need to find a frame, the original is rusted out where-ever the wood touched it. Also working on a '24 with a chev banger with an Olds 3 port head. need to get in gear on this stuff. Norm

 

This is a heluva find, in really great shape!

 

I finally got my homebuilt 27 chevy sedan delivery on the road. Just in time for winter.

 

Just get some snow tires and a posi rear and you'll be just fine.
Btw, congratulations - looks good.

 

Looks great Ghost. I finally found some rear fenders for my '31. They need some work, but they are solid. Now I can proceed.....Need one headlight lens and one cowl lens (or complete cowl light as I lost part of mine and only have the bucket) if anyone has something left over. Thanks, Joe.

Time for a couple of 36 5 window master deluxe Chevys. Currently building one that was the Navajo-Apache Telephone Systems car from 36 to 55 in Hollbrook, Az. I have all the registrations for those years. If ones good, twos great. right?

 

We just finished this 25 chevy .The only wood not replaced was the front seat.No one makes any patterns for this year.

 

Here is mine. a mix match of 26 and 28 parts. 28 quarters and frame, 26 cowl. I'm doing a 40's lakes roadster.

 

Please, never destroy the wood you remove. I'm trying to find any pieces of wood for my '29 roadster. Even if it is only a partial piece it can be used to make a pattern. At least make it available to the crazies that "wood" use it.
I was at the Monroe swap meet yesterday and bought a another '29 chev roadster body. Not to bad. What in the world am I going to do with two? I also found a pair of door skins that look like GM. Anyone got any guesses? Norm

 

I just found this thread. It is great. I haven't finished reading yet but I'm working on it. Just the help I need to get me going on my '26 roadster. Gathered parts for years now it's time. Most wood is here and in pretty good shape. I don't know which way to go with that. A good friend is a cabinet maker with a CNC machine. Here's a shot of the body.

 

I like the burning of the door frames.
My new project rebuild the doors.
