Great thread so far Konemies. Like the chop leaving the wind screen alone. That was very good thinking. Anxious to see more of your progress.

Looking good. What's the point in master cylinder placement? :)
I would replace the gauge cluster... I could have something you could possibly use. Pm me if you're interested.

    Thanks your comments.

My master cylinder is too small, i think. Brake are so lightly without vacuum. I can stop car but brakes should be better.

    next step, a sun roof

I bought Renault Twingo's sun roof.

It need some fixing because Twingo's top is rounder than Tudor's top.

    I made a wood jig.

[IMG]Couple careful hit with wood hammer and aluminium frame stay a right curve.

Now it's a same curve what have an original wood frame.

I made extra struts for roof. The first I made paper model.

I used squared tube for frame.

I cut the right curve and then i split it and got two mirror struts.

    Struts welded in place.

No big updates :( I have problem with rear spring. I need a new spring or modifiy old one.

I dropped motor mounts 2 inches.

Also I bought new rear wheels from scrap yard and fliped them. Now offset is ok.

I hope that i get some good ideas for rear spring :)

Good to see that my ex-rear axle found a new home.
Just remembered that i have a model A aftermarket leafspring in my stash.I bought it from Sweden yrs ago,but i guess it is too late to offer that one for you at this point...

    Thanks, everybody :)

    Next i do 4-links

I used Ford Taunus (Euro-Ford) bushings.

    Already welded.

I made some plan how i do it. If i put upper arms 45 degrees then i don't need panhard arm. Is that right?

  27. That is right.
