I was just re reading that. Looks like a smart ass answer. The colour was a custom mix. Couldn't tell you what it is.

Different approach to the "modified" category. Unknown glass body, '69 Pontiac OHC-6 with Clifford intake and headers. 200-4R trans and S10 rear. That's a '36 Dodge front axle.

I guess the origins of a 'modified' were back when the good ol' boys would drag an abandoned model 't' from out behind the barn, stick an ohv conversion head on it (if they could afford it), move the body and engine as far back as possible and they'd race them on the flat tracks at the county fair after the horse races.
They kinda morphed out from there, narrowing the bodies and becoming single seaters and racing big tracks to streamiling and running at bonneville and maybe even the for-runner to a sprint car.
They make a sexy little hot rod no matter what the real origin.

Well, I haven't shown pictures of mine in quite awhile, but it has moved indoors and I have been getting some stuff done with it lately. I might just let this one go pretty quickly though... Gotta make some clear time for the Roadster pickup and the Triumph bike.
