I am going to fiberglass my fenders and hood together to make a tilt nose. I would like to see pictures of what you did to make it strong. I was thinking of using the radiator support for the hinge pivot and glass in some wood strips to tye into. Any better ideas?

The fiberglass will not make a perminent bond to the metal, how about instead cutting spacers to fit in the old gaps and then drill and bolt the peices together? I was going to do something similar to my 54 belair after cutting away all the sheat metal that isn't used to hold up the paint.

Sorry, did not mention I have brand new fenders and hood for my 63 Falcon and they are made out of glass.
