My son, grandson and I drove from San Jose,CA to Yuma,AZ to pick this up. Great experience. It is now in pieces in the garage and my 7 year old grandson thinks "papa" is silly....

That's good .... you have inspired me too, to keep this 35....I was thinking of selling it and had a few interested party's ....but I think I'll just keep it.
Here's the frame I'm doing for my '36 three window. Don't look much yet, but there's a bunch of work already in it to get things down where I want them! Bear
We haven't touched it in a couple years. We still have been collecting parts though. We've blessed with enough customer work, that shop projects seem to just sit. Someday though! I bought a survivor '36 cabriolet, built in '55. Not sure what I'm going to do with it yet. I could post pics, but if you have the new issue of Hot Rod Deluxe, you basically know what it looks like. It's not the same car, but it is damn near identical at first glance. My jaw hit the floor when I saw the magazine.
So now you have 2 of them? I have that issue right n front of me, but pics of what you have would be cool too
Old L.A. Roadsters car from the '80's. Updated a lot of the mechanical parts during the winter. Added Packard headlights and repainted front end. Working out a few bugs now. Able to get history thru many helpful folks on the H.A.M.B.
